The problems facing the Maasai people can only be solved by those who understand the unique positions that the Maasai are in. The people are being forced to give up their nomadic lifestyles because of modernity. The days of vast tracts of land to roam on are far gone.
The free spirit of the Maasai is being constrained by modernity. While being left in that uncertain spot between the future and the past, the Maasai person suffers greatly.
MSD wants to change this by improving the day to day lives of the Maasai and making him proud of his culture. We run a campaign of continuously improving to adopt to the modern lifestlye while at the same time grounding ourselves in cultural heritage to enable us make a significant contribution to man's cultural heritage.
